Physical Description: Thornstar is the most beautiful white tiger possible. Her eyes are a striking early grey, with flecks of green. Thornstar is an average-size tigress with an unusually long tail. Her claws are sharper than most, as are her fangs. Her features appear to be evil, but alas, she is not. Her face does look sinister, but she adds slightly to it by constantly grooming her face to make it look so. Her underbelly is a paler white than the rest of her pelt. Her stripes aren't so dark there. She loves to take dips in the water, and is constantly damp because of it. Her ears are slightly pricked at all times, giving her a nervous, but sinister look. Her slightly haughty features make her even more formidable.
Personality: Thornstar is a loving, but tough leader. Her parents were never too loving, but never too harsh, either. She didn't always get attention when she wanted it. She has fought her way through the ranks of WindPride, and is ready to take over and rule this band of tigers and tigresses to the death. She never gives up, and is determined to find a good answer for everything. She is strong and brave, noble and fearless. She will fight anyone {from another pride or not} who challenges her authority and will never back down from a challenge. She doesn't try to force the other leaders to do anything, but sometimes she asks them for their opinion before acting. She is a wise cat, yes, but doesn't always see things the way they are.
History: Thornstar was born a strong, healthy tiger cub, with a sister. Her name was Oatkit, before she was mauled by the invading patrol of rival Pride cats. Terrified that Thornkit would be next, and angry that their only son was dead, her parents attacked the patrol and were killed. Thornkit was appalled and scared beyond belief that she would be next. She was adopted by another Pride mother, who died just last moon, fighting the same group of cats from that terrible night. But that which does not kill us makes us stronger. And it definitely made her stronger. She fought and trained twice as hard to be made a warrior. She was an apprentice for longer than normal, because she was too shaken with grief at the time to do more than lay around and grieve for her dead family. Not long after she was made a warrior, {her name was Thorntooth} the deputy died. Everyone knew that she had more than enough experience, and she was made deputy in Whitefeather's place. The Pride deeply respected and revered her, and when the leader died for the last time, she became Thornstar.
